Lasers focus intense light onto the pigment in tattoo ink. This breaks it into tiny particles which are then absorbed and processed by the body, causing the tattoo to fade. Depending on the colour and size of the piece, it may take multiple treatments (with recovery periods in between), however this will be discussed during your initial consultation.
